Food was exceptional. Different restaurants each with their own speciality. We loved the Lime restaurant. The staff is excellent.

Mosquitoes were a bit of an issue but once we pointed out they took prompt action.

Excellent location - about 25 min by boat from Male airport. The staff is beyond praise - very helpful and invisible when privacy is expected. The food was always fresh and the variety ensured.

Quite cosy as everything is within short walking distance, no buggies or bikes necessary to get anywhere. The beach, marine life, bird species all very unique.

Attention to detail can be improved. Balcony door was left open one night by turndown service with the curtains drawn and it ruined the AC for the remainder of our stay. Bottles of water had caps that won’t open. Room service orders with special instructions were ignored in the beginning but we found that being very clear and repetitive helped.

This was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. If you want to relax this is the best destination. They will take care of you very well … Special thanks to Anas for taking care of us the moment we arrived till we left, he is so helpful and thoughtful the whole time we were there, they provide us with early morning check in and late check out since there are availability, he is the best without a doubt. Ahmed from the diving center as he helped us alot to find our way when we were snorkeling around the island and he is very knowledgeable of the place along with the team . Additionally they have the best team in the Spa where they gave the best relaxing signature massage. Lime restaurant has variety of food and all of it tastes really good … I would definitely recommend this place if you wanna relax, enjoy the peace and the sea.

Beautiful island with fine white sand and turquoise water embedded in palm trees and nicely planted green spaces. Fantastic home reef ? with all color and sizes fish including baby sharks and rays.

Chef Ken and Chef Pradeep took really good care of my food allergies, and my comments were taken into account when i told them. I like the location it is very close to Valena airport.

No sunbeds around except 6 otherwise you have to stay in your villa, the resort is extremely small, walking around takes 9 mins only and activities are limited. The swimming pool location is terrible too, its in an outdoor dining area!

Extremely peaceful. You will get the ultimate relaxation there with no interruptions. Shinta was our dedicated host throughout our stay and was always there to help us with even basic requirements. Had a fantastic interaction with Arvind and Rifuath as well. Overall, their entire staff is excellent just like their resort. We were at Kurumba before, and they sent a boat to pick us up from Kurumba and took us to our next resort in a dedicated speed boat. We saw dolphins on the dolphin cruise, reef sharks, and other marine life in their fantastic in-house reef ecosystem. Initially, our stay was for two days. But after witnessing the peace and relaxation of Baros, we stayed two more days and returned with a hope that we will get chances to visit Baros many more times in the future.

The only issue we had initially was related to a limited number of menu items available for dining. But they were kind enough to prepare sub-continent dishes for us that weren't on their menu.

Great location. 20 mins boat ride from mainland. Very friendly staff! The island is quite small but didn’t fall short to any need. The food variety and quality were of a 5 star hotel. Loved the activities and live music!

I guess the only thing I didn’t like was the fact that the beach villas offered no privacy. People walking by or swimming right in front of our villa would just stand there looking in. At one point there were 8 people just standing right there staring in at our villa. Maybe rearrange the plants for more privacy.

Our family had a really great time exploring it.The culinary options are diverse and delicious, catering to every taste. The breakfast was one of a as our best moment of the day. What truly sets Baros apart, however, is its exceptional service. Every staff member is attentive, helpful, and dedicated to providing top-notch hospitality. Our butler, Reema, was outstanding – sharing the island's history, Maldivian culture, and expertly guiding us on excursions.From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and at home ~ it's a truly unforgettable experience.

Breakfast spread was FANTASTIC and food tasted YUMS! Staff were genuinely welcoming and sincere. They were also very attentive. Feedbacks were taken seriously and service recovery was immediate. We are thankful to all the staff that made our stay comfortable but would like to especially thank Justus, Ali, Nazeeh, Domi and Azzam. We are most appreciative of Justus' generous bottle of Moet during our Teppanyaki dinner after receiving our feedback at the Lime restaurant on the 2nd night.

During rain and especially when it gets heavier, the walk back from dining area to water villa is not very pleasant. The over-water villa should include a covered deck as we were limited to the room when it rained and could not use the deck at all. Also, it would be wonderful if there's an option to enter the villa if we were wet (apart from the access from the sea via the steps). It will b great if there were more choices of finger food or appetizers at Lime. Slightly lower prices for food will be welcomed. :)

We had a lovely time at Baros. It's a small island but has a little bit of everything. Nice house reef for snorkeling, everything is walkable but not so big you need to take a bike. We stayed on the water villas, which was spacious and well equipped. Attentive service from our butler Azzam and the resort itself was in pristine condition. Just a quick 25 minute speedboat direct from the airport, saving time and cost vs a seaplane. Plenty of activities, we did the Snorkeling Safari and Night Snorkeling, which both were a nice change of pace fromt the house reef. It can be overwhelming picking a resort with all the options in Maldives but we were very happy with our choice. Overall, Baros was a great place to relax and enjoy a tropical paradise.

Food prices are exhorbitant but this is everywhere in Maldives. The otherhand of being a quick speedboat away is you can see some of the city skyline in the distance.
